Become a Baker Summer Camp (Thornhill)

Welcome to Chocolate Tales Summer Camp! We're excited to offer an unforgettable experience for your child this summer. Our camp is designed to empower kids as they have fun and build social skills all while learning the art of chocolate making and baking. Our facility is peanut-free, tree-nut-free, and sesame-seed-free. 

Camp Hours

9 am - 4 pm 

8:30 am - Early Drop-Off

Attention all aspiring bakers! Our baking camp week is just what you need to take your baking skills to the next level.

This week is all about indulging your sweet tooth and learning new techniques to impress your friends and family. Campers will learn how to make decadent lava cakes that will have their taste buds exploding with delight.

If that's not enough to satisfy your sweet tooth, we'll also be teaching campers how to craft perfect French macarons. This delicate and delicious pastry is notoriously tricky to get just right, but our staff will guide campers through the process step by step.

But the fun doesn't stop there! Campers will also get the chance to create and decorate their own cake pops, perfect for sharing with friends and family. And speaking of cake, we'll also be teaching campers the art of cake decorating - everything from piping frosting to decorating with fondant to create stunning designs that will impress everyone. 

And of course, it's not all about the sweets - we'll also have plenty of outdoor games to keep campers moving and having fun throughout the week.

Chocolate Tales summer camp is open to children aged 7-12. No prior baking or chocolate-making experience is required. Our facilitators are both trained in chocolate and have extensive experience running summer camps, ensuring that your child is in safe and capable hands, and they also have CPR & First Aid training certificates. 

The camp will run at Thornhill Lutheran Church, 149 Bay Thorn Dr, Thornhill, ON L3T 3V2. 

We take the health and well-being of our campers and staff seriously and will have safety measures in place to keep everyone safe while working with various chocolate-making equipment. We will follow all relevant COVID-19 guidelines (if applicable) to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

The cost for one child per week is $475, and the cost for a second child from the same family is $425 per week.
