Welcome to Chocolate Tales Summer Camp! We're excited to offer an unforgettable experience for your child this summer. Our camp is designed to empower kids as they have fun and build social skills all while learning the art of chocolate making and baking. Our facility is peanut-free, tree-nut-free, and sesame-seed-free. 

Camp Hours

9 am - 4 pm 

8:30 am - Early Drop-Off 

4:30 pm - Late Pickup

Here's what you can expect from this week of camp:

Become a Chocolatier 

During this week, campers will get the chance to engage in a wide variety of activities that will stimulate their creativity and taste buds. They'll start by decorating their own aprons to wear while making all sorts of tasty treats.

Next up is molding with chocolate - a unique opportunity to learn about the different types of chocolate and how to use them in fun and innovative ways. Campers will discover the art of tempering chocolate and learn how to make the perfect ganache to use as a filling for their treats.

The fun doesn't stop there - campers will also participate in outdoor games that will get them moving and enjoying the beautiful summer weather. Back in the kitchen, campers will get hands-on experience in decorating their chocolate creations. To cap off the week, campers will learn the art of making pizza from scratch! They'll mix and knead the dough, choose their toppings, and bake it to perfection. What could be more fun than enjoying a delicious, homemade pizza that you made yourself?

Chocolate Tales summer camp is open to children aged 7-12. No prior baking or chocolate-making experience is required. Our facilitators are both trained in chocolate and have extensive experience running summer camps, ensuring that your child is in safe and capable hands, and they also have CPR & First Aid training certificates. 

The camp will run at Thornhill Lutheran Church, 149 Bay Thorn Dr, Thornhill, ON L3T 3V2. 

We take the health and well-being of our campers and staff seriously and will have safety measures in place to keep everyone safe while working with various chocolate-making equipment. We will follow all relevant COVID-19 guidelines (if applicable) to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

The cost for one child per week is $475, and the cost for a second child from the same family is $425 per week.
